Community Mobility Grant Program
Application Deadline: May 10, 2024
The ECN Community Mobility Grant Program will award grants of up to $10,000 to resident-identified community mobility projects on Detroit’s eastside that work to:
Reduce pollution and/or offer climate friendly transportation options
Contribute to ECN’s equitable and resilient neighborhood initiatives
Contribute to safe and accessible transportation solutions
Program Eligibility
This grant program is open to Detroit residents, block clubs, non-profits, neighborhood organizations, and recreational organizations.
Priority will be given to:
Community Resilience Hubs on the Eastside
Members of the Good Stock Neighborhood
Projects benefitting eastside communities that lack access to safe, affordable, accessible transportation and mobility options
What Types of Projects Qualify?
These grants will support community-led transportation projects that contribute to an equitable, affordable and resilient mobility network -- including but not limited to projects that:
Promote Pedestrian Accessibility & Safety
Expand Micro-Mobility Infrastructure
Promote Sustainability & Climate Resilience
Support Health & Well-Being in Mobility
Address Mobility Barriers
