Eastside Community Network (ECN) is launching the LEAP Sustainability Fellowship to support resident capacity building and community leadership in the Lower Eastside Action Plan (LEAP) communities. The fellowship will engage eight LEAP resident leaders (two from each quadrant) in a year-long training and development program. Fellows will receive a monthly stipend of $200 during their participation and a $5,000 project fund that is to be used to develop a project in their quadrant or community that is consistent with LEAP Plan Recommendations. Fellows can partner together to combine their funds for the creation of a larger or more expensive project in an area of the LEAP District that they jointly agree on. The Fellowship will include training related to project identification and development.
